Free Kids’ Clothing Program

Six diverse children laughing together on a wooden bench outdoors.

Our Free Kids' Clothing Program makes sure every child can step into school, play, and family life with clothes that feel good, fit well, and match the season. We offer free, clean, and age-appropriate clothing for children from newborns through teens, with no tricky forms or proof of need required.

When your family visits, we walk you through our kid-friendly racks so your child can help choose what they like. We sort donations carefully so you will find weather-appropriate items all year-cozy coats and boots in winter, sturdy school clothes in fall, cool outfits for summer, and layers for in-between days. Our aim is simple: your child leaves with clothes they feel proud to wear, not just "whatever is left." We know needing help can feel uncomfortable. That is why our team greets every family with warmth and respect. You are free to browse, take your time, and quietly ask about other support, such as gentle emotional check-ins or kids' workshops, if that would be helpful. There is no charge for the clothing, and there is no pressure to talk about anything you are not ready to share.

This program is especially helpful for families facing sudden changes-job loss, a new baby, growth spurts, or a move-when buying new clothes is simply not possible. By easing that practical worry, we help make space for you to focus on everyday life, school, and family time.

Whether you are a caregiver, a social worker, or a teacher looking for safe clothing support for a child, you are welcome here. Our doors are open to families from across Washington and beyond; every visit is confidential, kind, and centered on your child's dignity.
